Me!

Portland based artist Stephen Hinton creates a humorous, darkly twisted fantasy world filled with color, chaos, and cartoon-faced demons. Drawing inspiration from his lifelong love of pop culture, anime, and comic books, Stephen blends these influences with the traditional techniques he developed while studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.

Working primarily in acrylic paint, Stephen brings his imaginative characters and strange, colorful worlds to life. His work balances the playful with the sinister, inviting viewers into a surreal universe where humor, darkness, and vibrant energy collide.
